Welcome to Canine Commissioner LLC. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Overview

Canine Commissioner LLC (CC LLC) provides professional dog services, including general boarding, training, walks, day training, and boarding with training programs. We agree to maintain sanitary and secure premises and exercise due care for all dogs in our charge.

2. Training Philosophy and Methods

Canine Commissioner LLC utilizes the Balanced Training Method, which may include the use of correction collars such as prong or e-collars. All techniques prioritize the well-being of the dog and avoid harmful methods. While we use methods suited to each individual dog's temperament, we cannot guarantee a specific change in behavior or the total abolition of unwanted behaviors.

3. Owner Responsibilities

As the dog owner, you represent that you are the sole owner of the animal and that no liens exist against it. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information regarding your dog’s health, behavioral history, and aggression triggers.

  • Disclosing any known health issues and providing necessary medications.

  • Actively participating in the training process and reinforcing CC LLC's instructions at home.

  • Providing food for the duration of any boarding stay.

4. Health and Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be current on vaccinations prior to receiving services. Proof of the following vaccinations is required:

  • Rabies

  • Distemper

  • Parvovirus

  • Bordetella

5. Emergency Care and Veterinary Services

In the event of a medical emergency or illness, CC LLC will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your emergency contact immediately. If you cannot be reached, you authorize CC LLC to seek emergency veterinary care as necessary for the dog's well-being. The client assumes all risks and is responsible for all costs associated with such care.

6. Financial Terms

Program Rate/Deposit/Fees

3-Week Board and Train

$3,600

$200 non-refundable deposit

6-Week Day Training

$2,400

$200 non-refundable deposit

Private Lesson Bundle

$650 (5 lessons)

Payment in full due on/before lesson.

  • Payment Policy: Remaining balances for Board and Train or Day Training are due no later than 7 days prior to the first appointment.

  • Transaction Fees: Credit card transactions incur a fee ranging from 2.9% to 3.5%.

7. Cancellation and Termination Policy

  • Board and Train / Day Train: Requires at least 7 days' notice for cancellation.

  • Private Lessons: Requires at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so results in forfeiture of the appointment.

  • Boarding: Requires at least 3 days' notice.

  • CC LLC Rights: We reserve the right to terminate any contract at any time if we believe expectations cannot be met.

8. Liability and Waivers

  • General Liability: Canine Commissioner LLC and its agents shall not be held liable for any damages or liabilities arising from the training, boarding, or walking of the dog.

  • Damage/Injuries: If your dog causes property damage or injures any person or animal, you agree to pay all resulting losses and indemnify CC LLC against any claims or legal fees.

  • Transportation: You grant permission for CC LLC to transport your dog in a vehicle for training and enrichment. You acknowledge inherent risks and release CC LLC from liability related to transport.

9. Media and Privacy

  • Photo/Video Release: You authorize CC LLC to use photographs and videos of your dog for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes.

  • Confidentiality: All of your personal information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.

10. General Provisions

  • Force Majeure: Neither party is held accountable for unforeseeable events beyond their control (e.g., acts of nature, epidemics).

  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

  • Governing Law: This agreement is entering into with Canine Commissioner LLC, operating in Maryland.

By using this website or booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
